Power Up Your Trail Mix with Beef Jerky!

As an avid camper and backpacker trail mix is one of the things that you are always looking for new versions of. When I came across a beef jerky version, I was excited! I have to admit I hadn’t thought of adding beef jerky to my trail mix. Trail mix offers a variety of flavors, ease of packability, and usually pretty universal acceptance by family members. When we were kids and teenagers on summer vacation trips one thing we usually always had was a version of trail mix. Trail mix just makes miles go faster whether you’re driving or hiking! Here’s a couple of beef jerky versions you can experiment with.
