Family Pict Sep 2020.jpg

Hello Friends,

Thank you for joining us in our adventure of serving you.  Since 1941 the Everett family has raised cattle in southwest Baca County, Colorado. Being the third and fourth generations on the Everett Ranch, we wanted to continue being a part of what this family does best. Producing beef.

In 2009 we started selling some beef directly to the public. Over the years, we have found that we love being able to serve our community with our farm fresh beef. Our customers love the security of their food supply, and the quality of their beef when they buy with us. We love being able to be a part of a family legacy and sustainable rural communities. That’s why we do this, its good for everyone.

We are excited to support your family's healthy lifestyle, while striving to be a part of building a strong rural community.   We hope you'll enjoy sharing part of our lives.

Here's to beef like grandpa raised; quality, local, & antibiotic and hormone free.

In 2009 we saw a need for a high quality beef product, and began marketing our beef directly to the consumer. We know exactly what goes into each animal

– which means so do you!

The Process

Where.

Our beef is raised in southeast Colorado by us and other local producers. The animals are then finished at the family starter yard in southwest Baca County near Kim and Pritchett, CO.

What.

Our beef comes from cattle with a corriente background, which are very well suited for the landscape and climate in our part of the world. They are thrifty and efficient animals. This also means they grow more slowly; a process that creates consistently tender steaks and that are not oversized.

How.

Our beef is antibiotic and hormone free, and the hamburger is processed to be 90% lean or greater. The cattle on are typically on grass until 90-100 days prior to harvest. A typical animal will produce approximately 200-250lbs of beef per head. All of our beef is processed and vacuum packaged at a USDA inspected plant for your confidence in safety and quality. We work with our customers to arrange delivery.
